Casa Azul is located in the heart of Puerto Escondido, an easy walk to the beaches, markets and restaurants. Casa Azul is situated on a private estate within the grounds of Jardin Escondido, a walled tropical garden filled with flowers, plants, trees and birds native to the Oaxacan Coast. Nestled in Jardin Escondido is a swimming pool with sundeck, lounge chairs and pool palapa.  Also found in Jardin Escondido are hidden garden hammocks, sundecks and a Mirador with lounge chairs, a library, game tables, and fantastic views of the ocean and mountains.

Casa AZUL is covered by traditional palapa roofs over 15 feet in height and is cooled by the ocean breezes and ceiling fans. Each room is decorated in an individual but authentic Oaxacan style.

Casa Azul is completely furnished with linens, towels, tableware, utensils, cooking ware and even a blender so you can make juices and other libations from the many delicious tropical fruits available at the nearby markets. Casa Azul comes with the services of our charming housekeepers, who will clean your accommodations daily, and be available for light food preparations if you desire and as time permits.

The master bedroom in Casa Azul comes with queen size bed, large writing desk, hardwood closet and dresser and is connected to an outdoor garden shower area. All wooden furnishings are by local artisans. The colorful, spacious, mirrored Mexican tile indoor bathroom includes double sinks and shower. Adjoining the master bedroom is a small bedroom with two single beds and a closet.

A second master bedroom is located in our guest palapa, Casita TUCAN, which adjoins and is part of Casa Azul. The bedroom in Casita Tucan is over 400 sq ft and provides you with the sleeping option of a queen size bed in addition to two individual beds. It is furnished with a hardwood closet, and unique dresser, hand painted with scenes of Oaxaca by a local artist. The big mirrored Mexican tiled bathroom includes a shower.

Both Casa Azul and Casita Tucan have their own private patios with lounge chairs for relaxing and umbrella covered tables. Wi Fi is available for your convenience. Casa Azul and the grounds are smoke and pet free.

Casa Azul is located on a private estate not open to the general public. Only registered guests are permitted on the grounds.
